Coach Stout arrives for her first season with SoCal Volleyball Club with great teaching and coaching experience with players 14 and up.  Judy played volleyball at the U.S. International University in San Diego.  She went on to become a physical education teacher in San Diego County.  She taught at the Elementary, Junior High and High School levels.  This led her to the head coaching position for the Varsity Volleyball team at El Camino High School.  After 3 years at El Camino, she became the Head JV coach at San Marcos High School, where she coached for 7 seasons, and now assists both the JV and Varsity teams.

Judy's goals as a coach are to teach young volleyball players strong basic volleyball skills, and for them to be part of a cohesive team that is constantly improving.  And it has to be FUN!

Judy is not only a coach, but a huge volleyball fan.  Her daughter Courtney was raised in the SCVA Club program and went on to receive a full-ride scholarship to Rutgers University where she played for 4 years.
