Alyson comes to SoCal with an excellent playing and coaching background at the collegiate level. Even in high school, Alyson played 4 years of varsity volleyball and as a Senior was named to the All-Conference team. She went on to play for 2 years at American River College and was a Conference champion and named to the All-Conference, All-American team in 1993. The next year, she moved on to Fresno Pacific College where her team was GSAC Champions and again she was named to the All-Conference team. You can still find her name on the Fresno Pacific Leader board for most kills in a single season. Alyson's final college playing experience came from San Diego Christian College, where her team finished 5th in the nation at the National Championship Tournament. She made the all-tournament team for Nationals, the All-American NCCAA team, the All-Region Team (Far West) and the NAIA Far West Independent Team.
Alyson also has coaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels. She spent time as head assistant coach at San Diego Christian College and also a Calvary Christian High School. She is now married to Dave, and has 4 beautiful children, whom she hopes will follow in her athletic footsteps.
